The Story of Tramonte.dk
Why I Brought Tramonte to Denmark
For years, I struggled to find underwear that felt good and looked good.
You know the struggle - it was always one extreme or the other. Either it looked beautiful and sexy, but felt terrible on the skin (synthetic fabrics, lace that itches, “sexy” pieces that are fine for five minutes but not for everyday life) - or it was comfortable and breathable… but looked so basic and unflattering that you’d rather not be seen in it.
I wanted something in between. Underwear that always looks great - sexy, but with class - and feels fantastic to wear. Something that cares for your skin and your health too.
For me, this wasn’t just about comfort or style. I’ve often struggled with vaginal irritation and bacterial imbalance caused by synthetic fabrics and tight, non-breathable underwear. So, finding something made from natural materials wasn’t just a preference - it was necessary.
The discovery
A few years ago, during a summer holiday in Italy, I stumbled upon a small local market in Lazise by Lake Garda. Among all the colorful stalls, one caught my eye - the one selling beautiful Italian underwear.
I touched the fabric, and it instantly felt different. Soft. Natural. Real. So I bought a few pieces, just to try.
And oh my god - I loved them.
They became my absolute favorites. The kind of underwear you keep for “special days.” But soon, I wanted to wear them every day.
The hunt for more
The next time I visited Lazise, I actually went back just to find that same little stall. And I did! I bought more pieces (and took the seller’s card, of course).
For a few years, I kept ordering from his small Italian webshop - even though shipping to Denmark was expensive - because honestly, nothing else came close.
Until one day… the webshop was gone.
I couldn’t believe it. My favorite underwear - the one brand that truly worked for me - had disappeared. I searched everywhere. A few Italian boutiques still had them, but none shipped abroad.
And the thought of going back to other underwear made me want to cry a little. (If you’ve ever found that perfect thing that just works - you know exactly what I mean.)
From love to mission
So, I decided to dig deeper. I reached out directly to Tramonte - and what I discovered made me fall in love even more.
It turns out Tramonte is a small, family-owned business with real values. Everything is made locally in Italy, using natural materials sourced from nearby producers. Every piece is carefully crafted by skilled, respected artisans who sew each item by hand.
No mass production. No marketing gimmicks. Just genuine craftsmanship, passion, and quality.
After speaking with the owners, I knew - more women needed to experience this.
By then, I had already given Tramonte underwear as gifts to my family and closest friends, and every single one of them became obsessed too.
So I decided to do something about it.
Bringing Tramonte to Denmark
That’s how Tramonte.dk was born - from pure love for a product that truly deserves to be known.
I built a simple webshop (as you can see 😊) and started with the pieces I personally tested and loved the most. It’s not a huge selection yet, but it’s carefully curated - every item is something I wear myself and can wholeheartedly recommend.
Over time, I hope to bring more of the beautiful Tramonte collection to Denmark and beyond.
For now, I’m just happy that women here finally have the chance to discover what I did in that little market in Lazise.
For women who care
If you love slow, sustainable, and responsible fashion, if you care about your health, comfort, and confidence, and if you believe that underwear should feel luxurious even for every day use - Tramonte is for you.
It’s the perfect balance: soft, natural, elegant, and feminine - never vulgar, always classy.
It’s everyday luxury that does good - for you, and for the people who make it.
And I truly hope you’ll love it as much as I do. ❤️
With love,
Raimonda
